Who we are

This website is operated by Elara and Co Interiors Private Limited (“Élara & Co.”, “we”, “us”), an interior design studio based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our forms: your name, phone number, email address, and the details you choose to give about your project — property type, configuration, approximate area, an indicative budget range, the project or community name, and any message you write.

If you use the instant estimate, we also record the answers you gave it and the range it produced, so the designer who calls you already has the context.

If you apply for a role, we collect what the application form asks for, including any portfolio link you share.

We do not ask for and do not want financial account details, identity documents, or payment information through this website.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare for the first conversation, and — if you go ahead — to run your project.

To send you one acknowledgement email confirming your enquiry reached us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it goes

Enquiries are stored in Élara's own client system, hosted on servers in India (AWS Asia Pacific, Mumbai). Access is limited to the studio.

Email is delivered through our mail provider. Our website is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to three years, so we can pick up a conversation you return to.

Project records are kept for as long as we are working together and for eight years afterwards, which is what tax and company law in India requires of us.

Ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw consent you previously gave.

Write to hello@elaraandco.in and we will respond within thirty days.

Cookies and measurement

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Your browser may store a small preference locally — for example whether you chose the light or dark theme, or whether you dismissed a panel. That stays on your device and never reaches us.

Changes

This policy was last updated on 31 August 2026. If we change it materially, the date here changes with it.
