Bathroom interior design in Bangalore

A bathroom in the same vocabulary as the rooms outside it — vanity, mirror, light and glass — rather than from the builder's tile catalogue.

Spa bathroom in warm travertine with a floating fluted-oak vanity, a carved stone basin, a round mirror under a brass sconce and frameless shower glass, designed by Élara & Co.
What Is Designed

What a bathroom gets from us

  • The Vanity

Floating, in fluted oak veneer or lacquered PU on marine ply, with a stone or quartz top and a basin chosen for the top rather than the other way round; drawers, not doors, so nothing is lost behind a pipe.

  • The Mirror and Its Light

A round or arched mirror lit from the sides at face height, where a face is actually lit — not a strip above it that lights the forehead and shadows the rest.

  • The Wet Line, Drawn First

The shower on a level threshold behind 10mm frameless glass, the dry area kept dry — the wet line is the first line drawn, and the plumbing positions are confirmed before any joinery is made.

  • Sanitaryware and Fittings, Named

Jaquar or Kohler in chrome as the standard; Kohler, Toto or Jaquar Artize in brushed brass or nickel as the upgrade — each named on the quote with its warranty, and installed by the studio's plumber.

  • Storage That Stays Dry

A niche in the shower wall, a mirror cabinet, a tall unit for towels and the things a bathroom collects — placed outside the wet line, in materials that were made for a room with steam in it.

  • Tile, Stone and Waterproofing, Specified

The floor and wall tile and the waterproofing under them are the builder's line, specified by the studio down to the grout colour and named on the design with a rate — so the whole bathroom is costed, and none of it is hidden.

Why It Is Done This Way

Designed with the home, not after it

The Bathroom Rendered Free

The bathroom can be one of the three rooms visualised photorealistically within 7 days of receiving your plan — before any agreement, and without obligation.

Every Line Named

The proposal lists the joinery, the wall finish, the ceiling, the lighting and the curtains as separate lines, each with brand, grade and warranty, so the room can be compared quote to quote rather than by its total.

Checked Before Handover

Glass seals, fittings, drainage falls and the vanity's finish are among the checks every home passes before it is handed over — each photographed or measured, and signed with a name.

Considered Questions

Before you begin

What does bathroom interior design cost in Bangalore?
The spa bath in the Design Boutique is ₹2L – ₹4.4L as drawn for the studio's work — vanity, mirror, sanitaryware and fittings, shower glass, lime wash, ceiling and lighting. The tile, stone and waterproofing are the builder's, specified by the studio and named on the design with their own rate, so the whole cost is visible. Rooms are designed within whole-home projects, which begin from ₹11.99L; within one, the scope and finish of each room is yours to set.
Do you do the tiling and the waterproofing?
No — and no interior studio should price them into a band. Floors, bathroom wall tile and the waterproofing beneath them are the builder's work. The studio specifies them, names them on the design with a rate, and checks them before its own joinery goes in.
Can a builder's bathroom be improved without breaking tiles?
Substantially. The vanity, the mirror and its lighting, the shower glass, the fittings and the sanitaryware can all change without touching a tile, and together they are most of what a bathroom looks like. Where the tile itself is the problem, that becomes the builder's line on the same design.
Which sanitaryware brands do you use?
Jaquar or Kohler in chrome as the standard on every design; Kohler, Toto or Jaquar Artize in brushed brass or nickel where the design asks for it. Each is named on the quote with its grade and warranty, and installed by the studio's plumber.
Can I see my bathroom before I commit?
Yes — the bathroom can be one of the three rooms visualised photorealistically within 7 days of receiving your plan, complimentary and without obligation. Full design begins with a design agreement.
